Systems Architect Expert

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing architectural direction and engineering guidance throughout the entire requirements process from analysis, design, development, deployment, and lifecycle support for innovative hardware systems and applications.
• Analyzing and studying complex system requirements.
• Analyzing functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities.
• Applying business process improvement practices to re-engineer methodologies and principles and business process modernization projects.
• Applying, as appropriate, activity and modeling, transaction flow analysis, internal control and risk analysis and modern business methods and performance measurement techniques.
• Assisting in establishing standards and technical specifications.
• Designing software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manage their implementation.
• Developing analytical and computational techniques and methodologies for problem solutions.
• Developing and applying organization-wide information models for use in designing and building integrated, shared software, and database management systems.
• Developing block diagrams and logic flow charts. Translating detailed design into computer software. 
• Expand or modify systems to serve new purposes or improve workflow.

Required Qualifications

• Clearance – TS/SCI with an appropriate Polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience (3 years)) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience, 3 in IC.
• Understanding of the customer’s Authorization & Assessment process and ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
• Experience with C2S/AWS services.
• Experience with Agile/SAFe methodologies.
• Experience with development of architecture artifacts.
• Experience with requirements definition and traceability.
• Demonstrated ability to adjust to changing priorities.
• Ability to explain technical issues clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Customer requirement:  The successful applicant must be fully vaccinated.
• Customer requirement:  The successful applicant must be able to work core hours requirement of 9 AM to 3 PM

Desired qualifications 

• 16 Years of experience, 5 in IC.  
• SAFe certification.
• Expert knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis and design, and programming techniques.
