Systems Architect SME
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Lead the team of engineers and IT specialists to design effective, efficient, scalable, and secure applications within the organization’s Cloud platform and virtual/physical infrastructure.
- Willingness to use common DevOps tools such as Github, Jira, and Confluence and participate in the DevOps process.
- Ensure that solutions created by partner organizations stick to technical architecture standards
- Work closely with IT security to monitor the company’s cloud privacy.
Required Qualifications:
- Clearance – TS/SCI with an appropriate Polygraph
- 16+ years and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a scientific discipline.
- 5+ years of technical leadership
- Experience developing with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure,
- Knowledge of VMWARE systems with Workspace One and other associated VMWARE software packages.
- Ability to collect and define technical requirements to enable process integrations. Knowledge of the TCP/IP stack and basic networking
- Flexible mindset to provide new ideas or input on existing ones.
- Must be able to create and maintain documentation for all work
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners.
- Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
- The successful applicant must be able to meet the customer vaccination requirement.
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Systems Architect or Cloud Developer certification.
- Experience administrating or managing Windows 10, Linux Desktop (any flavor), and Windows Server 2012+.
- Experience building special internet systems
- Experience with the DevOps cycle and using common DevOps tools.
